New Jersey/New York native Melody Rose attributes her unique vocal and songwriting style  to her various musical upbringings.

Growing up in a musical household, Melody spent her formative years in recording studios with her mom and backstage at venues like Madison Square Garden with her dad observing the inner workings of the world of Rock & Roll.

She fell in love with music at a young age and subsequently her operatic and vocal jazz training span over two decades as she holds a B.A. in music business and an M.A. in music composition.

Rose has been performing as a professional vocalist since 2006 and her music has taken her across the world as a performer on cruise ships and at various music conferences and festivals along the east coast of the United States. As a singer/songwriter, she has performed at acclaimed clubs such as The Paramount in Huntington, NY and City Winery in New York City where she has received critical acclaim for her captivating performances. She has shared the stage with an impressive roster of musicians including Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals, Billy Joel, The New York Voices, and Jane Monheit.

In addition to her live performances, Melody also actively works as a session singer and recording artist. Her voice can be heard on projects for Syracuse University and College Humor as well as on projects for various independent artists.

As a singer-songwriter, Melody released her debut, self-titled album in 2016 which was partially produced by Ryan Lerman of Scary Pockets. Some of her songs from that album reached chart success on LLUVIA FM Radio based in Tenerife, Spain.

Music Magazine UK raves, “Soul is definitely one thing that Melody has no shortage of, and you’ll be sure to listen again and again to gain an insight in to this young up-and-coming artist.” Stay tuned as Melody Rose plans the release of her sophomore album, ‘Inside the Skies.’
